Diner at "La Couronne" Restaurant

The last Canardier event of 2023 took place at “La Couronne” restaurant, located on Rouen’s Old Market Place. This restaurant, founded in 1345, is the oldest inn in France. Numerous personalities have passed through the doors of this iconic venue, where Rouennaise Duckling has been served for over 100 years thanks to their Master Canardiers.

About thirty guests attended this dinner-party even though duck was not on the menu. Indeed, the main course was based on lamb, preceded by prawns with guacamole and followed by a choice of Norman cheeses and lemon curd with ricotta.
